Introducing our new head chef

Meet Andy Britton

 

In 2017 we said goodbye to our much loved head chef Nick Wentworth, who has been delivering our first-rate food since 2002. Nick has now moved away from the hospitality business, and goes with our considerable thanks and very best wishes.

We are thrilled to introduce Andy Britton as the new head of our kitchen team. Andy is an award-winning chef who honed his skills under such culinary greats as Albert Roux and Michael Caines, and has previously delighted diners at Bishopstrow House and the Macdonald Bath Spa.

His passion is delivering the finest local ingredients available from “field to fork”. He loves to chat to his guests, discovering the flavours and combinations they most enjoy, in order to become their personal chef.

In 2018, expect to see some exciting new offerings such as the introduction of a new Howard’s House Dining Club, an intimate evening in which guests can place their experience entirely in Andy’s hands and enjoy his personal selections, with wines to match.

Andy lives locally in Warminster and has been looking for some time for the kind of individual opportunity which a private, family owned business such as Howard’s House offers. He delivers a perfect marriage between the fine, fresh, locally sourced food which comprises the heart of Howard’s House, with a refreshing injection of flair unique to his particular talents. Expect to see the food you love on our menus, with some exciting new twists.
