Our public areas are all on one level, and we have a full-sized disabled toilet in the Coach House.
We are a Grade II listed building, and all our bedrooms are located on upper levels. We do not have any lifts. Unfortunately this is an unavoidable feature of the building’s age, size and planning restrictions. We will always do our best to assist wherever possible.

Car parking and arrival
Our lower car park has a firm stone surface. There is an incline leading to our upper car park, which has a firm stone surface. A temporary ramp is available for wheelchair access. For large events we have additional parking available in the neighbouring field, which has a grass surface and both flat and sloping areas. A gate from this field allows direct access to the hotel via the bottom of our garden, where a short walk across the croquet lawn or along a cobbled path will bring you to our door.
Our staff are available to assist you with luggage or any other equipment.
The entrance to the hotel is located on the ground floor and has clear level access. Throughout the ground floor, the surfaces are stone flooring and short pile rugs and carpets.
We accept dogs in our bedrooms at a charge of £15 per night. Dogs are permitted in public areas but not in the dining room or Coach House. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their pet does not cause damage to the hotel’s fixtures and fittings. Any damages incurred or deep cleaning costs will be charged for accordingly.
The hotel has a full-sized disabled toilet on the ground floor of our Coach House, adjacent to the hotel. This has a pull alarm cord in case of emergency. The gentleman’s toilet in the hotel is on the ground floor, while the ladies’ toilet is on the first floor.
Our restaurant is located on the ground floor. It is carpeted and well-lit, and has French doors which open onto the terrace during warmer months.
Front of House service is provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is displayed in an A4 folder and can be verbally presented if required.

All our rooms have an ensuite bathroom, most with shower over a bath. If you require a separate bath and shower, Room 10 offers this, or if you prefer a large walk-in shower, may we suggest Room 3.
Our gardens can be accessed via the front and rear of the hotel, and from the top car park. The grounds are multi-level featuring a stone terrace, a flat croquet lawn and sloping lawns up to our top lawn. There are stone pathways that around the gardens with steps leading to different levels. Please note that the traditional stone is uneven in some areas, and care should be taken. Our vegetable garden is accessible from the main courtyard/car park, and from the top of the garden.
