Directions from London by Car:
Leave the M3 at Junction 8 and follow the A303. You will pass Stonehenge on your right after about 30 miles. Continue on the A303. You will cross under the A36 Interchange 6 miles after Stonehenge. The dual carriageway continues uphill beyond the A36 for another 2 miles. Continue for a further 0.5 miles after the end of the dual carriageway.
Turn left on the minor road signposted Chilmark 2¼ Teffont 2½. Proceed slowly for 0.8 miles.
Turn left onto the narrow road signposted Teffont. Proceed downhill for 1.8 miles, entering the village of Teffont on the way. A main road joins from the right.
Turn left onto the main road through the village for 0.4 miles to the sharp left bend, then, following the signs to the hotel, turn right on the very narrow road signposted Chicksgrove. Howard’s House is 350 yards on the right.
Trains run frequently from London Waterloo to Tisbury. The hotel is located within ten minutes from the station and the village hosts two taxi companies that can take you there if pre-booked.
